[00:15.58]Prepare for maiden flight my son as the eagle from mid winter to spring sky
[00:32.55]Prepare for maiden flight my son as the eagle from mid winter to the spring sky
[00:49.53]there are pains you must devour before you go i can see him
[00:59.89]now blazon black and white standing on the edge of the nest flapping his wings
[01:13.42]he has come through the night one more hurdle to go
[01:21.29]that's the maiden flight just like him you will know when your time has come
[01:33.77]and once he goes he's never turning back he'll sore into the night
[01:42.75]sunrise till sunset wind and fire in his eyes and when his time is right he'll choose a mate
[01:59.73]to spread the light and out of a winters night a new spirit begins
[02:14.01]Prepare for maiden flight my son as the eagle from mid winter to the spring sky
[02:29.18]there are pains you must devour before you go i can see him

The Spirit in Me By Kevin Lajiness

[00:06.15]In a different time and place the seabird lost the race
[00:18.31]broke his wing and was drown watched him helplessly as he flailed in a wave
[00:33.98]gave up his spirit and drown reached out and touched the wave and asked
[00:48.02]if not to be saved that his spirit come into me that i might share my life endlessly
[01:04.62]live more like thee then there come a day a story came to me
[01:18.28]child that was not to be never took a breath of air
[01:28.39]his life was to be ended so unnecessarily
[01:38.81]so i said to the wind if i could share with thee
[01:49.73]that he might take a breath through me
[01:55.72]till the end of my days so it should be that for that time
[02:06.83]my spirit would be more like the unborn child peaceful and innocent
[02:19.25]and that it occurred to me the spirit i shared was already a part of
[02:30.79]the sea and the bird in me and so the story goes
[02:40.71]and so they live on in me the spirit of the innocent and the sea
[02:56.75]In a different time and place the seabird lost the race
[03:09.48]broke his wing and was drown I watched him helplessly as he flail on a wave
[03:24.70]give up his spirit and drown reached out and touched the wave and asked
[03:36.69]if not to be saved that his spirit come into me that i might share my life endlessly
[03:53.03]live more like thee then there came a day a story came to me
[04:06.26]a child that was not to be never took a breath of air
[04:15.87]his life wasn't to be ended so unnecessarily
[04:27.72]so i said to the wind if i could share with thee
[04:37.28]that he might take a breath through me
[04:43.95]till the end of my days
